mezzo-soprano Mayumi Kuroki in this important event in its fourth edition which particularly rewarded the Polish choir Akedemicki Chór Politechniki Śląskiej with the Grand Prix, two gold medals in Categories A "Mixed Choirs Adults" and F "Sacred Music" and the ex aequo award to conductor Tomasz Giedwiłło as "Best conductor".
Second place in the Grand Prix Ansambl Jane, third place in the Grand Prix the Ceu San Pablo Choir which also obtained the gold medal in Category G "Popular, Folk, Gospel, Barbershop, Jazz and Modern Ensembles", and the ex aequo prize to the director José María Alvarez Muñoz as "Best conductor".
Southwestern Oklahoma State University was also awarded with the silver medal in category E "Chamber Choirs, Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles" and the special prize "Best Performance of Italian Composer's Work".
